Leadership Board

After two years of hard work, discernment, zoom meetings and webinars, the 2022 Charge Conference approved the reorganization of the four administrative committees of TUMC:  Trustees, Finance, Staff-Pastor Parish Relations, and Council, into one simplified accountable structure, effective January 1, 2023.  The purpose of this restructuring is to allow more time to fulfill the true mission of the church: to impact lives for the Kingdom of God through ministry, mission, and worship.   However, now the work of the Trinity Leadership Board (TLB) really begins!

The TLB will carry on the work of the Council, continue the annual Staff-Parish tasks, ensure building/insurance compliance as Trustees, maintain finance and budget as previously done in individual committees, but with a LOT less back/forth/approval/discussion.  We are going to make a concerted effort to roll into January prepared for our new roles, aware of our responsibilities to the church and congregation, comfortable with the many hats we are going to wear, and as knowledgeable as possible about any outstanding issues or concerns from the prior Council meetings so that nothing is missed going forward.

The Board is both humbled and excited to ensure the church’s administrative processes continue in order to fulfill the ultimate mission and Great Commission.  We covet your prayers for clarity, for compassion, for empathy, for energy, and for enlightenment.

Cheerfully in Christ, with blessings ahead!
